The current version is v.395.4, and there is a non-Steam version available if you need it. This offers an excellent complement to those looking for more Imperator: Rome-themed content, now that active development of that game has been halted. There will be more start dates as the mod develops, but at the moment you can take charge of many of the prominent entities around at the end of the 4th Century. This WIP mod offers a total conversion that winds the clock back to 395 AD, around the time of the fall of the Western Roman Empire. The Crusader Kings setting lends itself quite while to anqtiquity as well as the medieval period.
